Credit
card companies saw a growing trend among Americans,
where we had become addicted to using our credit cards
as a way of life, to the point , they were seeing
consumers facing difficulty in paying the minimum
payments on our balances. The credit card companies
decided to lower the minimum monthly payment
requirements and we as consumers continued on as if we
could still afford to pull out the credit card and
manage our debts. Problem was, the minimum monthly
payment amount would not, in most cases, reduce the ever
growing balance. You make a $200 payment and next
month’s statement reflected the same or larger balance
owed. This was a quite, yet major financial disaster in
the making.
Fast
forward to the present time, now as the inevitable train
wreck has grown closer, the credit card companies are
suddenly faced with consumers so far in debt, that they
need to make some adjustments again. This time the
solution was to raise your minimum monthly payment
amount by doubling it, so that you could get the balance
paid down. Problem is, you can’t afford to make the
minimum monthly payment because your balance is too
high. Now you are faced with credit card debt you
can’t pay and your income is shrinking due to higher
gas prices, higher insurance costs, and basically
everything is going up except for your salary.
Credit
card debt is a now an epidemic. We as Americans have
passively waded into a quicksand of credit card debt
unlike ever before. SO, how do we get out? Many of us
are working longer hours, second jobs, and cutting back
on the things we love to enjoy. Still those solutions
are not making the necessary dents in our debt. We’re
facing bankruptcy, yes, the number of bankruptcies that
have grown out of this new
‘adjustment’ that credit card companies have
made is the reason.
Credit
card debt counseling is great, but what you and I both
know is the solution lies in making the money to pay off
the credit card debt. You need a means by which you can
double up and catch up, on your overwhelming credit card
debt. After you have run the full gamut of using credit
cards, abusing credit cards, and winding up with
insurmountable credit card debt, you will be glad to
know that you actually can and will survive without
credit cards.
When
times become this strapped for so many consumers,
alternative measures are desperately being sought. Is
there a way out? Can I find some way to avoid financial
ruin? Is it too late? While there is always the option
of working a third job, time doesn’t allow us to
physically do it.
If
you’ve read this far into the article, you have
obviously related to the statements made thus far. For
you, there is a positive solution that most people
haven’t discovered, and it’s a fast, honest, and
straightforward method of gaining additional income in a
short period of time. The cost to you is minimal and the
return potential is outstanding. One thing is certain,
desire and need, will always drive an individual to try
harder. Knowing the right direction to go is a big part
of the solution. What takes only a few minutes a day,
can greatly improve your financial outlook in a very
short time. This is well worth your time and
consideration.
